A Little About Us We met each other on a blind date ten years ago (how time flies) and it was truly "love at first sight." We have built our relationship on love, trust, and most of all friendship.             We are best friends. We have always desired to be parents. We live in sunny Southern California where the weather is always good. Our home is one mile from the beach where we frequently walk to and sit in the sand, build sandcastles with Allyson, roast marshmallows, and make smores of course. We also live across the street from a large park where Allyson plays on a daily basis. The cul-de-sac that we live on is constantly growing with young children whom Allyson plays with. We cannot wait to add one more! We are so fortunate to be able to drive two hours away to the snowy mountains where Bill can ski and we can make snow angels together. A Little About Bill Bill is employed as a fireman/paramedic and has a flexible schedule with many days off each month...( 2 weeks to be exact!!!) perfect for meeting the demands of fatherhood. Bill's favorite activities include: fishing, surfing, traveling, snow skiing, water skiing, date nights with Tracy, family time and most of all being a DADDY! Bill loves his special time with his family and as a husband and father he's the tops! Whether it's making that special dinner for Tracy, taking Ally to the Angles game and munching on popcorn together, or a fun fishing trip with Ally fully outfitted with a Barbie fishing pole and tackle box (bought by Dad of course). There is no question that the thing that makes Bill most special is his generous heart and love of family. A Little About Tracy Tracy is a licensed nurse and worked for a local hospital in their newborn nursery until Allyson was born. She is now a "STAY AT HOME MOM" (AND LOVES IT!!) Her favorite activities are cooking, traveling, working out, scrapbooking, date nights with Bill and of course being a MOMMY! Allyson and Tracy share so much quality time together every day, whether it is going to story time at the library, play dates, gymnastics classes, or just even hanging out with each other singing her favorite songs. Tracy can't wait to share these same traditions with our new baby. A Little About Allyson Allyson is our 3 year old daughter who reminds us everyday that raising a child is truly a DREAM COME TRUE!!! We were blessed to adopt her at birth and brought her home at 1day old. These past few years with her has just been amazing, she is truly the light of our lives. She is so excited to start preschool in the fall of 2005 and talks about it all of the time. We can't wait for her to bring home her art projects so we can frame them and put them up all over our house. We love seeing her grow and mature as she gets older. Everyday she is discovering new things and is such a pleasure to be around. She is happiest singing and dancing around the room to her favorite songs. She also loves visiting Bill at the fire station and sitting on the fire truck. She is so ready to share her toys and books with her new brother or sister. We know she is going to be a great big sister. Our Open Adoption Life In November of 2002 we were blessed with the Open Adoption of our beautiful daughter Allyson. We were so blessed to meet her birthparents and to have built this wonderful lifelong relationship with them. They were and still are the most courageous and most remarkable people we have ever known. When we met, we all agreed that we would have an open relationship, something that fit the needs of everyone. Three years later, it has been every bit of that and more, a open relationship, friendship and family. On the day Allyson was born, her courageous birthmom, Erin and us cried tears of joy knowing this was the beginning of a WONDERFUL life. This is what we all knew to be "an extended family!!!!!!!!!!
